MOTEE Collection
Motee is a family run t-shirt company based in Tehran. Our mission, our goal, and our passion is to satisfy our customers by providing them with a product that we have lovingly crafted.
My cousin and I decided to make this company when we noticed that the type of t-shirts we had been wearing most of our adult lives was simply not available for the people in Iran. We set out a plan to make our own t-shirts here in Iran with one objective which was do not make something we, ourselves, would not wear. It is our sincerest hope that we have succeeded in this objective and that our customers will wear our t-shirts with as much love that we put into making it.
Why the name Motee?
The name MO-tee (tee for t-shirt) is dedicated to the memory of our late grandfather, Mostafa. From early in our lives, our grandfather instilled in us such values as being kind, patient, humble, respectful, honest and committed in every aspect of our lives and when we entered into our professional lives these values became the pillars of our beliefs when working with our customers. Applying these values to our customers will make it easy for them to come back again and again. Our grandfather left us in 2005, but his memory is as strong today as the days when he was still with us and we honor him by keeping his legacy alive and well.
Motee Graphics
With respect to Motee’s graphic arts, we set out on a somewhat different path than most t-shirt companies. We are not trying to reinvent the wheel, but we have tried to improve it by doing something that is rarely done.
Our endeavour is bold and could be a risk, but one we feel that it is worth taking. We have decided to partner with different artists every season in order to incorporate their art onto our t-shirts. This move gives us the ability to set ourselves apart from our competitors and it also gives the artist with whom we work with another avenue to show case their work.
